  • American Board Certified (ABC) Orthotist since 1998. Practiced orthotics and pedorthics since June 1997 at American Limb and Orthopedic Company through now.

  • Work experience extensive with adult and pediatric care since 1971. Previous employment at Suburban Orthotics and Prosthetics – 15 years, Keller Orthopedic – 11 years and Ballert Orthopedics -  8 years.
  • Member of the Illinois Society of Orthotists and Prosthetists since 2004.
  • Known locally as the man who can brace anyone.

Rhona L. Chick, C.P.

  • Illinois Licensed Prosthetist  since 2001.
  • American Board Certified (ABC) Prosthetist since 1989. Practiced proshetics and pedorthics since September 1997 at American Limb and Orthopedic Company through current employment at American Limb and Orthotic Center as senior prosthetist. Prior prosthetic experience at Koeber’s Prosthetics & Orthotics Lab from 1985-1994, and Ballert Orthopedic 1994-1997.
  • Post Graduate Certificate from Northwestern University Prosthetics Program in 1997.
  • Bachelor of Arts and Science in Biology from University of Illinois, Champaign June 1984.
  • Primary work experience with geriatric patient population, working closely with rehabilitative teams to achieve greatest functional goals.
  • Prosthetic expertise in all the most innovative components and socket design, including MAS AK Socket, Harmony Suction BK and C-Leg.
  • Certified Mastectomy Fitter.
  • Member of The American Academy of Orthotist and Prosthetist since 1989, having served on the Midwest Chapter Board for seven years, President of Midwest Chapter Board in 1996. Member of Illinois Society of Orthotists and Prosthetists since 2001.
